Following on from Bon Voyage’s first ‘High Power 2023 Rework’ EP released in May, this second remix EP of ‘High Power’ comes courtesy of Australian via Manchester House fanatic, Andrew Sant and his late night driving club remix – a beautifully crafted dancefloor accompaniment to the Rework originals. Andrew says:

'I was listening to a Colleen Cosmo Murphy mix on YouTube and she played the dub mix of 'Makin Music' by Gary's Gang. The track really captured my attention and I wanted to try and make something in a similar vein - kind of futuristic electronic disco. So, I developed an instrumental, led by a driving arpeggio. I felt the track needed a vocal hook and as if by magic ‘High Power’ fell from the sky.'

Andrew Sant was first introduced to F*CLR in 2022 via his alter ego, The Sweet Fantastic and his brilliant ‘Hypnotisin (Get Down)’ as F*CLR’s first fresh release of 2022 – a beautifully reinterpreted version of Raw Silk’s ‘Do it to the music’. Previous releases from Andrew have included ‘Ya feel’ (3 AM Recordings), Out of Kontrol (Tri-Circle), and The Beat Conductor (Open Bar) with remixes for Neo on their track ‘Trulybe’ (Tri-Circle) and DJ Meme’s ‘Chanson du Soleil’ (Playmore). His DJ career has taken him around the globe from Sankeys Soap + the Warehouse Project, Manchester to Miss Moneypenny’s @ BoHo, Ibiza and currently, he is presenting on his 1BTN show ‘The Vinyl Collector’ with his co-host, Jude Alexander. Andrew is already working on several follow ups to his Bon Voyage ‘High Power 2023’ remix. Along with Kameelah Waheed, he has ‘Love Honor Respect’ in the F*CLR pipeline along with another collab with Ramrock Blue’s Maxine Scott guesting on ‘Show You How To Move’…..and even more projects yet to be revealed. 2023 is going to be a very busy year for Mr Sant.
