CJ Cooper has been DJing across the UK and Ibiza for nearly 20 years, equally at home playing main-stage festival slots as well as intimate club gigs. He’s best known for his long-standing nine-year residency at The Eagle Tavern, the legendary London LGBT+ venue alongside Horse Meat Disco. Alongside his regular slots at The Eagle, he’s also a resident DJ for the Brighter Days crew, playing at their sold-out parties for five years across Cambridge, Ibiza and London. He’s a firm favourite at the long-running Brixton Disco Festival, House and Classics Festival, plus Es Paradis, Ibiza Rocks Hotel and the Wiki Woo sunset bar in Ibiza, and We Out Here Festival, Hed Kandi and Cambridge Pride. While playing at ‘Up on the Roof’ at the Prince of Wales in Brixton, the Shapeshifters called his warm-up ‘one of the best they’d ever heard.’ Musically, CJ Cooper spans the best of disco, house and soulful house - from upfront edits and releases to crate-digging for long-lost classics which you can hear on his weekly Wednesday night slot on D3EP.com where he has an international fanbase thanks to his seamless mixing and choice selections.
